By Krae and Sofie the Outdoor Fanatics from Spokane Valley, Wa on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a smaller camelbak that I originally bought for biking which had some storage room. I realized the more I hiked and the different places I went I needed more stuff such as layers, snacks, bear spray, first aid kit, etc, etc, etc. This pack it great! I keep all my essentials in it (bear spray, sunscreen, smaller items, binoculars, knife, small first aid kit) and can also pack a lunch, a few light/packable layers and socks (if in sandals) for a full day hike! I have yet to use it to its fullest capacity (and in cooler weather) but when I do I will definitely update this. So far though, LOVE IT!

By northwardbound from Milw, WI on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Load, Good Padding, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Lightweight Cons: Water tube not concealed Best Uses: Day Hikes, Light Loads, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Should have been 5 star if tube was concealed in shoulder strap when not in use like our last unit. Otherwise bag is terriffic for dayhikes, biking and other times oversize bag is not need.
Would have used as casual bag also if tube had proper stow. Would not have wanted smaller version.
