By Old School Dean from Albuquerque on 09/09/2008 Pros: Great Construction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This ski has enough camber to keep the gripping divots from digging into the snow when you are trying to glide. So, despite being a wax-less ski, you get a reasonable amount of glide. They are also flexible and side-cut enough to turn well. They are great for spring conditions when it is very hard to get grip wax to work on synthetic-based skis. They are what these days are called “back-country skis”, which means they have enough floatation for skiing across the countryside.

Good configuration, good for piste and for back-country

I'am an avid skier and enjoy back country and cross country skiing. This ski would be bit of a dog on a groomed trail but has the perfect blend of stability and shape to break trail, crank a few turns and really enjoy even tricky conditions in the back country.

Nice Boots, Incredible price! By Hikeswiss from Trinidad, CA on 12/09/2007 Pros: Easy Lacing System, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are wonderful XC boots, unfortunately they did not fit my right ankle (this is NOT the shoe, it is my arthritic ankle!) Because they zip over the laces, I was not able to adjust them for my right foot without leaving the zipper open I would, however, highly recommend these as they are not too tight and are high quality boots.

By kayakski from Boston, Ma on 10/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Great value, Nice design, Quality Construction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't skied in the boots yet...but they feel very comfortable. I like the idea of the zippered covering over the laces. They appear to be well insulated. I look forward to giving them a try this winter. Of course skiing in them is the final test...but from what I see...I think I'm going to be very happy with them
