Great all round backcountry of track ski By Burgo from Newcastle, Australia on 04/11/2009 Pros: Excelent grip, Good off track touring, Turns well Best Uses: Cross-Country, Telemarking Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used these skis for about the last five seasons(1 weeks skiing each year). They are an excellent balance of turning/touring ability and suit touring off-track in undulating terrain and intermediate telemarking down moderate slopes. Can handle a heavier leather style boot or lighter plastic boot. The crown base grips very well and doesn't effect downhill speed too much. The skis are wide enough to be stable in rough going and the side cut and 1 1/2 camber are a good compromise between turning ability & glide. Bottom line - a great ski for off-track touring up & down hills and carving the tele turns on moderate slopes.

By VT Roundhead from Vermont on 01/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good Traction, Look Cool, Quality Construction, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great boots. My last XC boots were functional but were marginally painful on my left foot, and not very comfortable overall. These boots put the old ones to shame. They are as comfortable as running shoes, and also get decent traction off the skis. They are warm and sleek as well.
I can think of no possible improvement for these boots, and the price is a nice bonus. Highly recommended!
By Ann on the farm from Weston, MA on 01/20/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Boot is a little clunky, and doesn't offer much ankle support. They are on their way back.

I spent less than $60 for a very comfortable, warm, easy to lace, and cool looking boot.I am a terrible skier and I have alot to worry about, except my feet in these boots. These are a HUGE bargain for the price and COMFORT.
By JimmyD from Lebanon, NH on 12/30/2008 Pros: Adjustability, Comfortable, Easy Lacing System, Good Traction, Look Cool, Quality Construction, Warm Best Uses: All Mountain, Back country touring Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would recommend these back country touring boots to anyone. The day I got them I was out in almost knee deep powder and they kept the snow out and my feet were toasty. Beneath the exterior zipper there is a lacing system that is easy to handle even with gloves. The zipper is a nice heavy duty one that looks like it can take some abuse. The best feature is the neo-prene like upper that really grips the ankle and supports the achilles so free-heeled turns feel solid. I will mainly use them on ungroomed trails but I'm sure they will be fine in groomed tracks as well.
They also fit nicely into my snow shoes for segments that were too steep to climb on skis.
Great product from a great manufacturer.
