By Mountain Man from Fort Collins, CO on 09/18/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Sticky rubber, Versatile Cons: Fabric is a bit baggy Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor, Outdoor, Sport climbing Describe Yourself: Competitive Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is not meant to be comfortable (i wear 13 sneaker and got a size 12). This is the original down-turned, competition shoe. I love the V-10 for bouldering, steep rock, sport and competitions. Can't wait to unleash them during ABS season. The only drawback is the upper fabric is a bit baggy if you don't have a high volume foot, however once i climb in them for 20 hours or so the fabric should contract a little and conform to my foot. I could always use a strap to cinch it down. These things sold out quick. Amazing shoe!
By Aaron from 29 Palms, Ca. on 09/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this shoe is like 2 sizes too small.. I wear a size 10 I bought a size 11 and I can just about get my foot in this shoe.
if you buy this shoe, and want a nice tight shoe get a size bigger, if you want a confortable shoe get two sizes bigger!

By Kona dog from Morro Bay, CA on 08/14/2008 Pros: Durable Sole, Good Traction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It took me a few orders to finally get the right size, they seem to run a full size too small. Once I found the pair that fit, they are awesome. Great edging and stiff toe work. I really like them (nice color too).
By Matt Marino from Colorado Springs on 08/09/2008 Best Uses: Sport climbs smearing Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 53 yrs old, climbing since teen yrs, I like lace ups, much more adjustable. Excellent stickiness and seems durable. Sizes do run small, but I wear my climbing shoes very tight. We are climbing sport routes on sandstone and granite, mostly 5.9 to 5.11's. Good allaround shoe.
first shoe and a great choice. By Ski from Fort Rucker, Alabama on 07/31/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Simple to Use Best Uses: Climbing, Daily use, Indoor gym Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first pair of shoes. The only complaint I have is the loop pulls on the heel are sewn on the inside of the upper so they dig in to my heels but after the first week or so you get used to it and your feet tuffen up. like other have said order at least 1 1/2 sizes bigger. I wear a size 10 street shoe and i ordered these shoes in a 11.5 just top fit good.
nice shoes but get a larger size By climb4fun from san diego,ca on 07/26/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these shoes have good grip. i usually wear a size ten for hiking, day-2-day and cleats. bought these shoes in a size 11, they felt great even after 45 minutes around the house, but after 15 minutes of climbing they were to small. should have gotten at least 1.5 or 2 sizes larger than normal.
A good first agressive shoe By abc from Boston on 07/24/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Don't expect them to stretch at all. I tried getting 1/2 size smaller than my ascents and I couldn't get my feet into them.
