These liners are not too bad. The wicking is great as I wear these under Acorn socks. I do wish there were one size smaller since the heel is up behind my ankle.

Fox River Liner Socks - Polypropylene (For Men and Women)

Narrow Cut for Smaller Calves
By CJ from Small Town in Montana on 11/05/2009
Cons:
Narrow Stocking
Sizing:
Feels full size too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These should be a nice liner sock (we haven't used them yet). I bought these in Large for my husband, whose shoe size is 10 1/2, but they fit the women in our family better than him. I wear a women's 9 1/2 and the foot of the sock is just a little big for me. The foot seemed to fit my husband, but the stocking is quite narrow and does not take in a thick calf very well. The XL might work better for him. I imagine these would be great for layering socks when cool weather camping and to help prevent blisters when hiking.

Comments:
I use these liners under a good pair of wool socks to wick moisture and keep my feet warm and dry on cold days. While more expensive liners may exhibit better performance, these get the job done at a reasonable price.

Little too long
By AliHat from Des Moines, IA on 10/18/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable
Best Uses:
Daily Use
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I like Silk, but it takes the right socks over it to get the wicking effect. These are a bit too long, especially with a relatively tight opening on top. I kept them and will use them more for casual use in warm weather, but not for strenuous or long distance hiking, because if the moisture doesn't wick well enough it could cause blisters
