By fashion police from ontario on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable, Stylish, Wider near bunion area Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Statement piece Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Always wanted to try a pair of Fryes, so am very pleasantly surprised by these. Wore them around the house to stretch them and they stretch quickly and feel good. No bunion, hammer toe pain- now that is a bonus! I normally don't tolerate heels, but the thicker sole and reasonable heel make these ideal. Haven't worn them out yet, but can't wait to throw them on with a skirt to show them off and love them! What a great deal and a pair of boots to last for years and years to come. The kind you love for the way they shape your foot over the years and only get resoled because you can't part with them. Worth the buy.
Love the color, hate the tightness By Barefoot Boogie from Atlanta, GA on 11/13/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these to go dancing, however, I feel the break-in period will be long and I can't imagine dancing while wearing these boots. Right shoe is very difficult to enter. I am wearing the boots in small doses hoping they loosen over time.
By deana from ca on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boot. very comfortable and very warm. I have a few frye's, but these are the most comfortable. only complaint is that the width for the calves are a little narrow, i'm 5'3 and 120 pounds, so i have medium sized calves (not large ones), and they are a little tight at the top so they tend to scrunch down a bit. it doesn't really affect the comfort factor, though, just be prepared that they might not stand up straight. very nice pair of boots. will wear these for a long time.
By Lock Haven Mom of Twins from Lock Haven on 11/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Worth what I paid through Sierra, but never would have paid full price. The quality is good, but [$] for boots? Get real.
By Grey Ghost from Oregon on 11/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the boots. I was a little worried about the material used for the soles, but after wearing them for a few days, I have learned to really like it. Quiet, no squeak when wet, comfy to walk in.
runs large, cheap rubber sole By sarah from sebasatopol on 11/06/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Tried these on in the store and ordered my size online. In the store the saddle pair were large but fit nice, did not really notice the rubber sole then until I ordered a dark brown pair. They bulged funny at the ankle and the sole seemed super cheap. I returned them and splurged for some Frye Harness boots which also were large, they definitely run large but the pair I ended with are awesome. Great company but this style was not for me. [...]
By Em from Charlottesville, VA on 11/05/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very pretty, but I am 5'5" and they came up over my knees. Sadly, I had to return them.
By dreamcatcher from fayetteville,AR on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stylish, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love these boots to death. Wear them all the time! Great with knee socks peeking out. The sole is made of super cushy rubber, these are easily the most comfortable pair of boots I own and i probably have 10 pair. I would recommend them to anyone, the boot is not too short and not too tall, just right. AWESOME BOOTS
By Mountain girl from Crested Butte, Colorado on 10/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great boots! I was looking for a classic brown boot that I could dress up with skirts, or wear casually. I was a little uncertain at first about ordering a half size smaller, but it fit perfect. I normally wear a 10 and ordered a 9.5. I absolutely love these boots, and for the price, I wish I could have them in black!
By cherie from austin, TX on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stylish Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these boots rock! They slide on easily and reach to the knee- they look great with tights and are comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered the nine. the left boot was way too big and the right a little big. I sent them back and got my usual 8.5 and they are perfect. That is my usual size for Frye and Ariat so these do run true to size.
