I have several pairs of campus from Frye. In fact the first pair was bought in the early 70's.
They're a but stiff at first but after broken in they mold to your foot, they're very comfortable. As with any quality leather boot or shoe, there's a break in period. They will last forever with a little care, enjoy!
By AC from Seattle on 11/06/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They're great. When they arrived they were definitely stiff, but they are loosening up nicely (I've had them about a week). I'm still experimenting with sock choice as different thicknesses feel better. Some blistering the first few wears, but that seems to be decreasing. Overall, excellent product.
By Rakhi's mom from Bellevue, WA on 11/03/2007 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this boot in cream and light green. I stumbled on a super clearance sale a year ago and they were so low - you don't want to know HOW low - that I grabbed both of them. But - both pairs got nicked on the first time I wore them. The leather must be very thin and was torn back, exposing a brown color underneath. Must have been from a chair or maybe the metal rail under a car seat. Very sad. I would not buy this boot again.
A real boot but not for strolling. By Col from British Columbia on 10/14/2007 Pros: Breathes Well, Durable, Sexy with jeans or skirt Best Uses: Casual Wear, Dancing Describe Yourself: Northern Lass with Sass Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Frye boots and have been coveting my friend's for a while until I saw them here. I bought a green pair which are head-turners. They are fun to walk in but not for long periods. My feet start to hurt if I'm in them all day. The sole feels a bit stiff. That could be just my boot though. Other than that for a durable, long-lasting, real-deal leather boot, made in North America- Frye is the best buy.

I have them in antique gold and constantly receive compliments on the color. I love the Frye boots are durable in the rain and age well with use. I sized down 1/2 a size and use them with thicker socks in order to help with some padding for comfort. Overall, they're a great investment and will last for years.

By wrptinplstc from Seattle, WA on 09/25/2007 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Clean, Great looking, Stable, Warm Cons: Little cushion in sole, Soles slip or soak in wet Best Uses: Anywhere with pants, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought my first pair of Frye boots while at the University of Colorado in 1972 (yeah, I'm that old).
I wore them constantly; they wore out around 1982. They have a great look and feel: you really know you're wearing boots, and want to put your feet up on things.
Grab them at this price.
