By 70's from adirondacks on 10/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had hoped for the good ol Fry boot style from the 70's and got a slouched up version for 2009. The coloring was off and the top did not stand up. Sadly I returned my order.
Not my perfect boot but still great By Bargain hunter from Eastern Washington on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Well Made Cons: Too short, Too wide on the calf Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots are well made and attractive. Fairly true to size but a little loose. I will likely add insoles. They are shorter and wider on my calf than I would like. They look fine with jeans tucked in. I have misgivings about wearings them with skirts. For the price, I can live with that. I've been wanting some frue boots for years!

By Smart Shopper from Portland, OR on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When these boots arrived I was so excited to open the box and try them on. Luckily, I ordered a half size smaller and they fit well. I did notice, however, after wearing them I had a couple "sore" spots on one foot, but I'm stretching the boot a bit and that should take care of it. They are very stylish and trendy and fit well on my calf. Great looking boot for casual wear.

They are durable, and will last a very long time. From the instant that they came out of the box, it was like I was walking on pillows - very firm, comfortable pillows. Fabulous! And, I usually wear a 9.5 and I ordered that because I usually wear socks with my boots. They fit perfectly!
By shoe lover from Encampment, WY on 10/13/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry/Exit Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 'Great looking boots reminiscent of the 60s. Crepe soles make them comfy. Soft, beautiful leather. They run a little big, but if you have a high instep they can be very difficult to put on.
Wonderful Frye, as always By Frye Fan from Boston, MA on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Frye boots are always very well made and normally MUCH more expensive. The crepe sole is unusual and I suspect they won't last as long as the traditional campus leather sole/stacked heel. Plus the leather is a bit softer than my last pair of campus boots. But on the plus side they were instantly broken in and the crepe is super squishy comfortable.
