By CPT overseas from Bamberg, GE APO, AE 09139 on 11/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket wasn't worth the price. I originally thought it would be alot warmer than it was. I was shocked to find it was thinner that it lead on to be.
Nice jacket for short armed men By Pete Feet from NY on 11/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Really nice jacket, but the arms are way too short for me. I ordered one size down like the other reviews suggested and the overall fit of the jacket was not bad. A good quality and good looking jacket that is let down by ridiculously short sleeves. I am very disappointed to have to return it.

By Frankns from Chicago, IL on 10/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Versatile Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought and returned this when I found it was light-wieght. It's a fine coat, but really NOT for cold weather. The Wool-Cashmere-Nylon blend wouldn't cut it in a Chicago Winter. Fall, maybe. Winter, no.

By STP Shopper for years now from CA on 10/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel, Work Meetings Describe Yourself: Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gorgeous coat, classic style. Great price. I've been eyeing these coats for some time now and finally bought one. The price was great. Opted for the olive color, and it's beautiful. Can dress it up or down. Find both the color and style versatile. Purchased mostly for casual wear when I don't feel in the mood to wear a down jacket - so can wear it with jeans or cords. Could wear it with a nice pair of dress slacks, too, though my intent is more casual. Fits true to size based on others' feedback. Generally wear a size small or small/medium. Cut is generous for a bulky wool sweater underneath without it appearing as though it would be swimming on me if I opted for a lighter layer instead. Highly recommend!
By tsd from oakland ca on 10/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the garment because I am walking and using public transportation more, and am out in the weather often.
I knew that a traditional coat made by a traditional English manufacturer would have to be able to stand up to freezing rain, driving hail, and that penetrating island damp; and that there would be room underneath for a sweater or jacket.
The coat met all my expectations. And I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it looks and the quality of the cloth, as I had thought that the 20% nylon had been added to reduce cost. In fact, it is made of a quality woven double faced fabric with a very nice complimentary plaid interior surface. the finish is impeccable.
By Poppy from Phippsburg ME on 10/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Warm Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The quality is one expected in the old British duffle coats and rarely find today. My son is receiving it as a gift so not worn yet but measures exactly with the same size 44R as his top coat. It has a nice plaid lining. This is the greatest buy.
