The leather is light weight and is very comfortable to wear. It can be worn with a jacket or alone, as I will wear it most of the time. I am a vest kind of guy and this one will see plenty of use.
By El Zorro from San Bruno, CA on 10/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight Cons: I needed an extra size Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket could be a true size for some people. I needed an extra size. Other than that I am very happy with it. It's super light, great quality of leather, great style. A jacket that you can wear with jeans or any other type of dress clothes. It feels soft as you put it on and when you touch it. A great jacket to have!!
More of a Thick Shirt Than A Thin Car Co By prosperare from Ohio, the Heart of it All! on 09/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight Cons: Not Warm, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very nice car coat, but you really need to know what you are getting into. These coats are sold at some of the finer leather stores around the country, including resort towns, and there is a reason why. This coat has a wonderfully soft feel, and the cut is right on. However, it is very thin. If that is what you are looking for, you'll be thrilled. If you're like me, and are looking for something more substantial, you'll be disappointed. For instance, the Thinsulate is a 40g weight. Even the Thinsulate tag on the jacket states that 40g weight is meant for hats, gloves, and accessories. It becomes relevant when you think that some winter boots have 400g weight Thinsulate! It fits more like a heavy, insulated work shirt, than a coat. Just go into this eyes wide open. Oh, I ordered the Large Tall, which, had this been thicker, would have been perfect. It definitely fell below my waist, and the arm length was about an inch longer, which all made for good coverage. I usually wear a 44L if that helps any.
By STPer from Fort Lee, NJ on 09/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Had to return this item because it came without tags. Also its quality does not justify the [$] original price.

My husband's new favorite! By Happy house wife from the true Southern Illinois on 09/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The leather on this jacket is butter soft-don't know how durable it will be-but it's not the type of jacket you would want to go through heavy brush either. I know my husband will wear this vest every chance he gets-around town-driving here and there. He can use his 'old favorite' vest for the ruff stuff!

Distressed Vintage Blazer By Mike from Ohio on 09/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sized correct for Regular however I normally wear a 40 Short in blazers. I'll have sleeves shortened an inch and will be good to go. Hesitated a bit before investing but I'm glad I ordered this blazer. Good looking blazer. Quality stuff.
Cons: A bit on heavy side but not too much. Top outside pocket is fake. I'm not crazy about the round buttons but I'll live with 'em just fine.
