Gordini

Gordini

When you think of winter gloves, think of Gordini. Gordini was started in 1956 by winter sport enthusiasts to provide waterproof ski gloves, goggles and other snowsport accessories to those who live for new snow. Whether you’re a diehard skier, snowboarder or snowshoer, Gordini’s winter gloves range from simple and straightforward to highly technical Gore-Tex® waterproof gloves, while Gordini winter hats, ski masks and base layers are designed to protect from the wind and insulate from the cold. Gordini is also on the forefront of innovation - they recently created Lobz® high-tech fleece ear warmers - some of which even offer built-in audio. When you buy any Gordini winter accessory, you can always be sure of its quality and functionality.

Comments:
Had been looking for a mitt that was warm enough for winter weather bicycle riding - I added an interior liner and find the combination to be the best I have found - and I've been looking long and hard. I really like the flexibility of the fabric which allows easy access to breaks and gears while riding.

Very nice primaloft, gore-tex glove for the price. The primaloft is very soft and warm .You can pay more, but you'd be hard pressed to find a glove this good for under $35 $45 .

Gordini Lavawool® Princess Base Layer Shirt - Midweight, Long Sleeve (For Women)

Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This shirt has been a fantastic purchase-- I almost wish I had gotten two! It extremely light-weight and as soft as cotton. It's stylish enough to wear on its own on cool days, and is excellent for layering on colder days. Princess seams give it a flattering fit, but it does run a little small. I usually wear an XS in tops, but chose a Small because XS was out of stock-- glad I did, because an XS would have been too small.

Gordini LavaWool® XC Gloves (For Women)

Abnormal fingers
By Vermonter from VT on 11/07/2009
Cons:
Not Waterproof, Poor Fit, Too Bulky
Gear Usage:
Winter Sports
Sizing:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These gloves are made of too many slippery, sponge-like layers and the fingers are only about an inch long- very frustrating. I wore them once to help hold down a sheet of greenhouse plastic and they ripped all around the thumb.

Gordini Lavawool® Stretch Glove Liners (For Men)

Works for me
By Sleepy commuter from Chicago on 11/04/2009
Pros:
Comfortable
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Sizing:
Feels too large
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Another reviewer suggested that my "large" hands would fit into a Small pair of these. He might be right, but I wanted light gloves, not liners. So I bought a Medium pair. They fit quite well. I especially like the elastic cuffs, and the great price!

I have worn it once but I do love it. It is soft and the fleece type inside is very comfortable. The fit seems true. The only down side is that I would have like another color choice. It will be great for outdoor activity whether by itself or as a layer. It feels very warm.

Once I owned a pair of Gore-tex Gordini mittens, I've never gone to anything else. For people who have trouble keeping their fingers warm-these are the mittens for you. They keep your hands the perfect temperature whether it is 20 degrees out or -20.
