By butrfly from southern PA on 12/07/2007 Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned this. The leather palm just got in the way. It's not well supported by the fabric construction. Either do an all-cashmere glove or all-leather glove. They didn't function well together in this style.
Motorcyclist says, Great value for down! By The Boogey Man from NE Georgia on 12/07/2007 Pros: Dries Easily, Durable, Lengthy, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Motorcycling Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, motorcycling Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride my Harley almost daily. I purchased these for that specific reason in cold temps. I chose down as I have tried thinsulate, gortex, etc and none seemed to work. These have proved to me that for warmth, down can't be beat. Gauntlet is long enough to fit over jacket cuff. Palm could be grippier. These aren't totally windproof but for skiers I doubt they will be going downhill at speeds of 70! Plus skiers are more active than me sitting on a seat. Fingertips on my throttle hand got chilly after approximately 45 minutes ride time. I cured that though. There is plenty of room to add handwarmers.
By Torahlady from Chehalis WA on 12/07/2007 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Gear Usage: Fine leather gloves Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves fit as well as any I've had on my hard-to-fit hands. Very lovely for formal wear, and also daytime.
Great for driving around town By Ninabee from Chicago, IL on 12/06/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are medium weight, thick enough to keep your hands warm while driving, but not so bulky they won't fit into the pocket of a down vest or jacket. The large size was too large for me so my husband got them and I ordered a second pair for myself. I didn't give them 5 stars because they don't feel super soft like a high quality cashmere would but still a great buy.
Perfect! Practical and Elegant! By victoria from Central Ohio on 12/06/2007 Pros: Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Driving Shopping Dress Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these gloves. I wore them in Toronto and my hands never got cold. It's nice to have a good looking pair of gloves that slip into pockets easily.....I was tired of all the bulky gloves that are so popular.
Extremely warm and very upscale appearance.
