They do not slip around on my feet and the floral embroidery in the beige is an attractive touch. I took a chance on these because they are made in Germany and NOT made in China, and the quality of workmanship shows. The slippers do have indoor soles with subtle but effective traction "grippers" on the bottoms.

I had a pair of boiled wool slippers from this company before and wore them until I wore a hole in the sole. Finally had to replace them and these are even better than my first pair. I wear them year round--great for warmth in the winter, but not not in summer wear. And they are easily washed in my home washing machine. You can't go wrong with these slippers.

It is more like it runs 2 sizes large. I had to return it but think it would be great if I could find a small enough size.

My first pair lasted 10 months of constant wearing! The tops are still in excellent condition. I just wore out the back of the heels, which I can repair cheaply.
