By oregon hiker from central Oregon on 11/02/2009 Pros: Rugged, Versatile, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Rock climbingcasual wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really nice fabric and construction, fits well. The snap did not hold, so I just added a hook and eye and works fine.
By sweaterjunkie from USA on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Everyday, Formal Events, Going Out Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is a near perfect zip sweater, with one drawback: there is a swath of wool that bridges the opening of the zipper, attempting to give the appearance of a shirt under the sweater. It defeats the purpose of the zipper (to vent), and does not really lay well. The picture is misleading, as it does not show this. I'll have it removed by a tailor. otherwise great!
By Usually an Ibex fan from New Jersey on 10/28/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight Cons: Inadequate Protection Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The vest does not look like a quality product. The fabric is hard and there is a very thin lining. I expect a better quality product from Ibex.

Comfortable to wear, and dressy enough for work. Very nice cut, almost tailored. Light but warm, and breatheable.
By LovesDogs from Northern California on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Lightweight, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is beautiful: not itchy, great length and fit and if you like light yellow-greens, an absolutely beautiful color. Ibex is pretty pricey, so getting this on sale at Sierra Trading Post is a great deal.
By Josh from Germany from Stuttagrt, Germany on 10/24/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There's no doubt that this is a high-quality jacket. It is well constructed, very warm, and looks good. However, it is completely unlined. If you are like me and wool tends to irritate/itch, this one is a no-go. Liked the jacket, but had to send it back because of that.
By Suzy the lazy homemaker from Milford, OH on 10/22/2009 Pros: Flattering, Great Color Cons: Accumulates Fuzz Balls, But just at underarm area Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this in blue. If you get this, try to get the blue Austin Reed close-out pants also. Together, they make a really nice outfit. You'll need a long-sleeve T-shirt or turtleneck underneath this sweater. It's very nice but it's not as soft as cashmere. When zipped up all the way, the neck is quite high. I have a short neck and really shouldn't wear turtlenecks at all but the sweater is even becoming with the neck somewhat zipped down. I wear a white T-shirt and silver necklace underneath and that crossed zipper still gives it that little interesting difference that makes it something. It's not boxy but figure-flattering without being tight. I like this sweater A LOT.
By C from L.A., CA on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: An unusual and stylish sweater with nice detailing. Very warm and comfortable by itself or over a lightweight shirt underneath. For best look, it must be worn zipped up all the way as it becomes strangely shaped unzipped.
Looks used and old after one use By sna from New york on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color Cons: Accumulates Fuzz Balls Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I used it one day as a casual outdoor sweater...
great looking but none too soft By helga from great falls, sc on 10/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved the look, right weight, and fits great. But the fabric is very scratchy. I couldn't wear it without a sweater underneath to protect my skin.
