By cycle boy from Boston on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an outstanding jacket. Good for moderately cold weather or for cold weather active use. Much warmer than it seems for its light weight. Ibex is top quality.
By C in Chicago from Chicago, IL on 10/19/2009 Pros: Great Color, Great price Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the color, not the fit. Sleeve length is great, body length (in size M) is too short for my taste, barely reaching the top of my jeans (with hands up, hello belly!).
By Hipster Doofus from Danbury, CT USA on 10/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a well made, high-quality sweater. I like Ibex garments a lot but they're typically beyond my price range, so I was happy with the cost.
My only complaint (and it's not much of a complaint) is that it seems to run a little small. I usually wear (L) but I had to exchange for an (XL) to get the fit I wanted.
If you like a snug fit, order your normal size. If you like a little room then order a size up.
Otherwise - very nice.
Comfortable and different By Keep me warm from Minnesota on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work for the schools, so I need clothes that wear well, look good and that I feel comfortable in. I also like to look original and stylish. The zipper on this sweater adds a fantastic touch and the weight of the wool keeps me nice and toasty. I love clothes that add a fun touch. A real winner for our winters.
Nice sweater for everyday By MT Jen from Bozeman, MT on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, Soft, Stylish, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is soft and comfortable. A casual dresser, like me, can wear this anywhere: around town, casual dinner, out to the pub, even the backcountry.
Love the color, softness, and the casual yet flattering style.
Will wear this again and again. By TraderReese from Colorado Springs, CO on 10/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a unique soft shell jacket in that it is very thin and light. It is not 'soft' like a fleece lined alternative nor is the outside shell 'spongy' as with your run-of-the-mill soft shell. This jacket has a micro thin layer of wool inside (instead of fleece) and the outside shell is more like a synthetic canvas. It is a tough jacket that is ready for whatever you throw at it. Although you wouldn't want to wear this for warmth (you would need a insulation layer with it) the wool does regulate temperature pretty well. There are two hand warmer pockets and an upper chest pocket. About half of the cuff circumference is 'gathered' with some elastic so that it fits your wrists, neither being open, nor tightly sealed (there is no adjusting the fit there). Also, the collar is a nice cut and comes up the neck midway, but not high enough to cover your chin or mouth. If you are looking for a tough and durable shell that will take a beating in most outdoor activities, which also has a wool component, this is a great shell.
By k29er from Central VA on 10/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my first Ibex product, and I'm very happy with it. I'm between a Medium and a Large...Medium is snug, but fits fairly well, other than being just a touch short in the front.
It became an unexpected gift. By A thoughtful mother from Anchorage, AK on 10/13/2009 Pros: Stylish, Versatile, Warm Cons: Large was really a small Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Chest Size: Feels too small Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ibex is a wonderful brand but this sweater was sized incorrectly. I sent it to my size 6 daughter who's comment was "I can't believe this is a large!" She loves it. If it had fit properly, I would be saying the same. Buy 2 sizes larger.
