Both are two of my favorite sweaters. The only thing is that they run small. I normally wear a small or medium, but with these, you really need to go up to the L/XL. The ladies who make these must be pretty small. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this and the price made it an excellent buy.

It's quite heavy so will be good in our cold climate and can probably be used as an outer jacket in the fall.

However, they come nowhere near that. [*] The wool is lower-end average quality. The knit is loose larger gauge, not the dense stitches of quality knit wool. On the positive side, it fits well and is comfortable and warm. But the RETAIL price for its quality would more realistically be [$] dollars. This is not a bargain.

Color is a lot paler than I had expected.

It is a lovely shade of grey with just enough trim to make it look pretty. The knitting isn't pulled or pilled and the zipper actually works very well. It is not too loose on me. I am a size eight petite and weigh about 118 lbs. and I love the way it fits me. The yarn is incredibly soft and warm. I could wear while running errands or going out, skiing etc. I don't work but I think it would be work with certain pants for work.

It is sure to be considered unique by friends. The fit (S/M) is good for those who wear size 6-8, in other words it runs small for a size medium individual.
