Cute Hat; Good for Warmth By Kelly the 25-year-old from Boulder, CO on 03/12/2009 Pros: Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Cons: Yarn came loose early on Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hat is cute and perfect for keeping your head warm. The only problem I had was that the yarn came loose and unraveled in one spot, so I had to sew it back together. This was after only wearing it once. BUT, I still recommend it because that could have just been a fluke.
Great design, terrible fabric By Ms. Miltown from Milwaukee on 03/06/2009 Cons: Bad fabric, too tight Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As the other reviewer stated, this shirt runs very small. Think under armour. I am a petite small, and I ordered the medium thinking it would help, and it was still tight/constricting.
I would have considered keeping it as I LOVE the unique design, however the fabric is awful. Imagine wrapping your upper body in an ace bandage. That's kind of what the feel of this fabric reminded me of, except even more unforgiving. Too bad - as it's a looker!
Very nice ski pants - just one tiny prob By Encubed1 from Boston on 02/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Cons: Not silent when you move Best Uses: Skiing or boarding Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great ski pants but I will return them because they are too "swishy" when walking. Not the loudest I've ever heard, but too noisy for me.
By nickname from Connecticut on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this as long underwear for skiing. They were great - very thin, but warm. I am typically a small or medium and I got a small. They fit perfectly, so if you are between sizes, order one size down. Overall, good product.
Beautifully made, whisper light By cybercitizen from Oklahoma on 02/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very light and comfortable. I can put on this hoodie and turn down the heating vent. I had earlier bought my daughter an Isis product, and I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. It is very refined, light, and easy to wear. The workmanship is very fine.
Awesome HOODIE for layering, buy large By liblil from Jackson Hole, WY on 01/29/2009 Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had this jacket last year and someone stole it. I liked it so much, and missed it so much, that I bought a second one on STP. Being that where I live it can be -20 degrees in the morning, I use this jacket as a sweatshirt or hoodie, a really warm one, but not really as a heavy coat. I wear it inside, most of the time, in my cold office or house. On some occasions I wear it as my main coat, but I wouldn't do that if it is less than 25 degrees or so. I will also wear it on super, duper cold days as a layer under my main coat, and that keeps me toasty. Goose down is super warm, it's comfortable and a beautiful coat/hoodie. I wear it most days. A piece of advice: Buy a size larger - I usually wear a 6 or medium and I bought an 8 and it's perfect. The sleeves are a little short with this jacket no matter what, which is the other reason to buy bigger.
By Indy Athlete from Indianapolis on 01/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a super shirt! I love Isis- their shirts fit very well and are cozy while still being flattering. One detail that does not come up in the picture is a neat ribbon/stripe detail down the sides. Really cool. I wear it alone or with a vest. Fuzzy inside but smooth surface out. Definitely a must-have!
Attractive and Functional By Judy from San Ramon, CA on 01/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very comfortable jacket with lots of interior pockets for almost anything you would want to carry--sunglasses, I-pod, etc. I love the color (amethyst)and it seems very warm, even though it is really lightweight. The only drawback is so minor--it doesn't fit as close to my body as most other jackets, but on the other hand that allows for more layering if needed.
By Texan in VT from Killington, VT on 01/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running, Skiing Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this top -- and the tights that go with it -- for everyday wear in Vermont. So far I've worn it as I intended, as pajamas, and as a base layer for skiing. It has performed well in every situation, and the fabric is much softer than most of my other base layers. I haven't noticed any more odor retention than with other polyester long underwear. My only problem is that it's tough to keep these away from my daughter!
