Sierra Trading Post is honored to present this venerable collection of Samuelsohn suits and sport coats... dedicated to fine gentleman's classics since the firm’s founding in the late 1800's. Samuelsohn still makes suits the old-fashioned way—a costly process using hand-basted imported, full canvas construction that produces a flexible fit and more natural drape. Samuelsohn uses only fabrics from world-class looms—and never settles for shortcuts or cheaper components. Such was never permitted in the olden days and the standard is still in force today.

I have always been very pleased with the sizing but this jacket is just slightly smaller in the chest than the others. I am almost a pefect 44 regular and usually need no alterations except to this one, which was probably a 43.5 Reg. Very nice 3 season fabric and well constructed. Versatile color scheme that will go with a number of pant/shirt colors.

The only negative I can state is that the materials-wool, silk and linen-which make this jacket so stylish, also wrinkle very easily. This jacket does not do well throwing it over the back of a chair. Because it is made by Samuelsohn, you can be assured it is a high quality manufacured coat.
