Saucony evolved from the 1910 shoe store of Russian immigrant cobbler, Abraham Hyde in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They produced footwear for NASA astronauts in the ‘60’s, and in 1968 they acquired the Saucony Shoe Company, a small running shoe company known but to a small group of serious runners. I needed a shoe that would work with my still-shifting post-pregnancy body and this is it. This is my first pair of Saucony shoes, but I'm a believer now. I've only put about 40 miles on them, but if they hold up I'll definitely be buying another pair.
