It isnt 100% wool but enough that it looks like it is 100%. Buttons are hidden beneath the placket so it's a well made coat. Belt runs around the back to the front and secures with a snap over the buttoned coat. Very sharp with the large lapels that can be turned up to look like Mata Hari... or just look cool. VERY pleased with the value of this coat! Intend to wear it for dressy or casual events, can go with anything. THX STP for an elegant, expensive coat at a price I can afford!

She is 5'10" & the coat is about 3" above her knees; amazingly the sleeves are actually long enough. There is a lot of subtle detail in the styling that make the coat stand out from the norm. The material is very good quality but lighter weight so I think it would be better for milder winter temperatures.
