Junk. Fashionable? Maybe, but still junk By Lieutenant Jim Dangle from Reno, UT on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight Cons: Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Poor Sound, Poor Value Best Uses: Avoiding Conversation, Back Up Headphones, Bed Making, Deterring Socializing, Warding Off Bums Describe Yourself: Frequent Traveler, Head Of Household, Wannabe Audiophile Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to like these, but they simply do not deliver high quality sound. There's also no additional ear pieces to custom fit individual ear canals and these just didn't fit my ears. I know, what do I expect for [$]? Well, there are many alternatives at the same price point that do deliver good quality, efficient sound and some even include "fit kits". I know guys that work at Skullcandy and others that use/love their stuff. I have to assume the headphones they're raving about are not this model. Tangent alert! This might be a classic case of jumping to a conclusion, but perhaps headphones are similar to sunglasses, in that they are becoming a high dollar fashion accessory. The mark up on sunglasses is atrocious and there's not much difference from a structural or performance standpoint, between my high dollar Kaenons and a good $25 pair of off-brands.
By sheylal from Houghton Lake Michigan on 09/08/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Reliable Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gift for teen boy who goes thru many ear buds due to flimsy wires breaking when he stuffs iPod in pocket but these wires appear to be coated and HEAVY DUTY...just perfect for teen boy! He had always wanted to buy these but at $60 and over elsewhere never could afford but found these on sale for around $30 so great bargin.
By bomb23 from Seattle, WA on 08/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Lightweight Cons: Too Much Ambient Noise Best Uses: At work, Music, Running, With My Computer, Working Out Describe Yourself: Audiophile, Gear Head, Music addict Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This style of earphone is my favorite to use while puttering around the house and yard, or listening to music at work. The piece that slips over the back of the ear helps keep them on while doing active work like gardening or working out. The speaker part doesn't fit very tight into the ear so ambient noise can be a problem or a benefit if you don't want to completely zone out and want to be aware of your surroundings. Get the Full Metal Jacket ear buds if you want total sound immersion.
