The Smith Sunglasses tradition began long before Dr. Bob Smith struck a deal to manufacture Smith Goggles. His Smith Goggles had been legendary with locals in Sun Valley, Idaho, for years. Initially made around a kitchen table and traded for lift tickets, they were just too awesome to be kept secret for long. After realizing the demand for his technology and innovation, Smith was founded in 1965 with the first ever breathable vent foam and sealed thermal Smith goggles lenses. Soon expanding into Smith Sunglasses as well, Smith became a force to be reckoned with in the optical industry. Today Smith Sunglasses and Smith Goggles are on par with the best in the world. I bought them here, b/c they were 1/3 the price. Very stylish large frame that fits closely to your eyes...a bit of wrap. These are great for just knocking around. I probably wouldn't run in them, but they would look cool on the golf course or some other less active sport.

Don't slide as much as you get sweaty! Lenses do scratch fairly easily, so be as protective of them as you can when not wearing.
