Like long underwear, Sno Skins women’s clothing is designed to be worn as a base layer against the skin when headed outside for cold-weather fun. It's casual, but sleek, so it will be very versatile. I think the nylon means that the black won't fade much over time. And I love the stretchy crinkly texture, which adds huge interest and really makes this jacket a subtle standout.
Note: I am tall and this fits me fine (also true of my previous snoskins)... sleeves might be too long for a petite. But I'm a happy camper!

However, when they arrived I found that they had an elastic waist. Further, the pants were way too long on me, even though I'm tall (5 foot 8). I figured I had been sent the wrong item, so I called Sierra Trading Post to discuss this. I eventually found out that the only pants available were the type I had already received. I returned these. I want to say that in my whole history of shopping with STP, about three years, this is the first time I've gotten an item that was really different from the description.
