| The spirit of Sportif was born the very day John Kirsch began selling tennis shorts out of his station wagon in San Diego, CA. By 1968, Sportif had introduced the first ever stretch fabric into the outdoor and boating industry. After that, the innovations just kept coming. Sportif was one of the first outdoor apparel companies to use Gore-Tex® and sun-protective fabrics, soon becoming a premier manufacturer for companies like Eddie Bauer and L.L. Bean. Rather short, however, if you wear it with any pants/skirts that rise below belly button. I didn't click a good travel option because the material will pick easily.
