This jacket is just what I hoped it would be...retro 70's style that has modern touches. The places that I ski (Colorado/New Mexico) rarely get cold enough for a thick, bulky insulated ski jacket, making something like this perfect for putting over a light fleece or even a t-shirt on those cloudless sunny days.
Even though this jacket is insulated..it is very light and relatively thin. (but well constructed) It isn't for heavy weather..but rather like I said above for mild weather days. It performs it's function, but is mostly about style (Spyder logo on the back is awesome). Wear this on the slopes and also for hitting the brew pubs afterward.
