About Spyderco

Spyderco is more than just another knife brand. Spyderco has an image all its own, which conveys individuality, resourcefulness and a "don’t mess with me" attitude. The Spyderco image was cultivated by the first knives the company offered, which showed off the company’s patented SpyderEdge serrated blade that increases a knife’s effective cutting edge length. The classic Spyderco knife is a lockback knife with a trademarked Spyderco Round Hole for one-handed opening and an ultra-smooth opening mechanism. Spyder-pig,- wait that's family Guy ! By Rabbit from Menlo Park Ca. on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Sharp Blade, USA Company, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Day Trips, Opening Sierra TP boxes, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Spyderco makes great knives that are known for their quality. Bought these for Christmas presents for my partners in a business we formed. They are all prior Military and Law enforcement and can never have enough great knives !! These are some of the best prices I've seen for Spyderco - they don't come cheap !! You get what you pay for. My Mini Spyderco got snatched at the Airport after I retired from LE and forgot to take it off my keyring. Don't try to take one of these past TSA !!
By CP from Richmond, VA on 11/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even though this was made in China (most Spyderco's are made in the US), it's well put together and a solid knife. Very sharp. The action was a little stiff, but after opening and closing 20 or 30 times, it's smoothed out quite nicely. The belt clip is TIGHT. This knife will not slip out of your pants pocket when using the clip.
