| Europe's Steinbock apparel is laden with Tyrolean atmosphere. Designed in Innsbruck, Austria, and found in only the finest stores in Europe, Steinbock has improved traditional Tyrolean fabrics like boiled wool and loden cloth by utilizing extra-fine wools, cashmere and angora. Run your hand up, and then down, their loden cloth and note the soft, downward flow of the fibers which naturally shed rain and wind. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this jacket, which I just pulled out of the box, exceeded my expectations ! they guide you to a smaller size, which is spot on. I am usually a 44 and this 42 was perfect. the craftsmanship is stunning, attention to detail throught incredible, and the fit is better that I expected.it hugs the body well, and it's roomy enough one size down to fit a med weight sweater, and still be comfortable.
I will be purchasing more items from Steinboch without a doubt.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered two sizes and ended up keeping the larger size so there would be more give in the seat (although there are side zips, I didn't want to have to unzip them.) The sleeves do seem a tad short, although the turn back cuff suggests some adjustment is possible. I wish there were an internal snow guard at the sleeve cuff because of winter drafts. The cut is not quite as nipped in at the waist or as trim as the photo suggests. I bought this because I was looking for a nicely detailed, below hip length, winter coat that doesn't look lumpy shlumpy or overly puffy. I think this will fit the bill.
