The down-to-earth appeal of Sunday Afternoons goes back to its roots in the early '90s, when the small, family-run company set up shop at craft fairs and open-air markets. While selling their dermatologist-approved, sun-blocking apparel, Sunday Afternoons founders kept their ears open to suggestions from their customers—most of whom worked outside in the sun—and applied changes as they saw fit. Today, Sunday Afternoons remains true to its roots, producing UV-blocking apparel with the best interests of the outdoor-minded consumer as their guide.
