Awesome stuff....highly satisfied By Trail rider from Stoney Creek, ON on 11/15/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Cons: Can pack ice on binding Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow, Flat Terrain, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these as my first set of snowshoes last winter, and ended up logging about 150 miles with them. I live in Southern Ontario (Canada) and had an above average snowfall last year, so I tried them out on groomed trails, off trail, deep snow, cliffs, and they performed great in all conditions.
Only con is that a couple of times, on wet snow but with cold conditions, snow accummulated and packed on the binding. But this might be common with all snowshoes on those conditions (I wouldn't know)
By Gemstate from Bozeman, Montana on 11/13/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, MADE IN THE USA, Stable Describe Yourself: Getting Started Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these snowshoes. We just got about 2 feet of snow so I could finally try them out. It was my first time snowshoeing, I really didn't know what to expect. I didn't want to stop, it was so much fun and easy. I am so pleased I bought these. I bought myself a pair of TSL's and my son a pair of Tubbs. His kept coming off and were extremely frustrating to put on and adjust. [...] With the TSL's putting them on was a piece of cake. Exiting is just as simple as putting them on. Using these snowshoes is just plain common sense, as a beginner, I appreciate that. There are no tricks or unnecessary complications. The ease of use makes me enthusiastic to try them again, asap. I'm also glad I bought a more advanced snowshoe, that I can progress into. Thanks TSL. Great purchase....buy them!
By Wildflower from Crazytown, ID on 11/13/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Good Traction, Stable Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these and haven't used them yet. I can already tell that they have much better traction than the basic snowshoes I was using. The only problem I have is that the heel strap is almost not big enough. I put it on the biggest size and still have to squeeze my size 10 boots in. Be cautious with these if you have big feet like me!
