Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a rock solid, well-constructed bag that I imagine will last for years to come. I ordered the medium and it is surprisingly large. The only downside is that the bag is heavier than it looks. In retrospect, I should have ordered the small for my purposes (carry-on bag, weekend get-away bag, alternative diaper bag).

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Was purchased for my 11 yr. old for school. The quality is great & I hope it will last longer than any of the other brands he has used in the past. Since he drags his bags they always rip on the bottom. Hopefully he will not do this with his Timbuk2. The only negative is that I did not realize that a 17 in. notebook fits in the bag. My son does not own that size of a notebook (& will not be getting one) so the backpack does seem quite long. It would be nice if one was made for a 15 in.[...]Since my son was excited about receiving it I'm sure he felt like it took forever.
