Haven't really had a chance to put the Gore-Tex to the test but they were warm and comfortable at 20F. Fit's great.

I would have exchanged for a half-size larger but they were not in stock. They also run narrow, especially in the toebox. I thought the larger size might correct that, but I had to return as it was not available.
By Just a Little Bit Different from Boston on 12/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Thrilled with the quality of my Vasque hiking boots also from STP (Why shop anywhere else?)I decided to order these. They were a bit too long and did not provide the right support for my foot. The arch felt somewhat misplaced and lacking support. If the shoes are anything like the hiking boots I have no doubt they are waterproof as described. Just because they do not fit me correctly does not mean they won't be perfect for someone else.
