This product matched its printed word By Sam from Chelan, Washington on 04/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Support, Warm Describe Yourself: Beginner Skier Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am well pleased with the shoe, especially that the sizing was so accurate and it fits so well.!!
Can i give this boot Zero stars? By munous from Seward, Alaska on 04/01/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Poor Support Describe Yourself: Intermediate Skier Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots were OK the first time out. I just want to get exercise during the winter, so i didn't really care they had no support and looked like they were from [...]. On the next ski the "King-tex" (that is what they seriously call their nylon fabric) began falling out. Now the toe has separated from the sole, and snow packed into the toe box. I see STP now has some fischers on sale for about the same price. I ski in remote places, and i have to rely on my gear. I shouldn't chance it with [...] equipment. I still love STP, but will stick to brands i know from now on.
By munous from Seward, AK on 03/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Skier, Intermediate Skier Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable as a slipper with the same amount of support: none. Plus, very poorly made, as other reviewers noted. My last ski with these will be my last. I felt something in the toe box, and realized when i got back the boot separated from the sole and snow was packing into the toe area. Plus seams coming apart. I use them, they don't gather dust, but i have to rely on my gear. I was on a isolated/remote trail last time, and if these things would have failed on me its not a good situation. Definitely getting name brand boot next time.
