Wickers started out as a fabric company, but in 1990 founder Anthony Mazzega saw an opportunity in the burgeoning performance undergarment market. Combining his innovative fabrics with performance garment manufacturing, Mazzega created Wickers Sportswear. Wickers has since been a leader in the development of performance fabric technolog, offering a range of tops and bottoms appropriate for all weather conditions. The company now supplies major outdoor retail chains and catalog companies with its unbeatable moisture-wicking lightweight, midweight and expedition weight polypropylene or Comfortrel® polyester undergarments for men, women and children. ... Great cold weather Tutleneck By scotman11 from Lake Isabella, Ca. on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Awsom Turtleneck for the price...Would have expected to pay quite a bit more for a quality shirt
By KAR from NY on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Hiking, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used them yet...I got them for snowshoeing
By climber and skier from mid-atlantic on 11/03/2009 Cons: Must stretch it a bit Best Uses: Under ice or ski helmet Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Ice Climbing, Skiing Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For the price, this isn't half bad. The seam does go down the front, but it actually doesn't bother me. I have a big head, so I must stretch it a bit, but that's easy. And you can just toss this in the wash w/o worry. I think this is best for when you want face protection, but don't want to be too terribly warm about it (i.e., you're exerting yourself, and don't want windburn).
