Not scratchy at all. Fit is snug (including neck) consistent with stated size. I liked them so much, I ordered some more.

Very warm, fit is a little strange By Bournstar from Burlington VT on 11/18/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Some people had posted that the fit was a little strange with these, I'm 5'10, I wear 34"W x 32"L pants, and I found that the legs were a bit too long with these and the crotch sets low. I have to pull the waist band up over my navel for the pants to sit correctly. Looks a little strange, but they move well in that position. They're super warm, keep you nice and dry (wick moisture) and they're cheap. I'd buy another pair, just nothing you want your friends to see you wearing around the house!
