About Woolrich Hats / Gloves
|
Quality Woolrich hats and Woolrich gloves have a long history of protecting men and women who enjoy spending their time outdoors. In the 1830s, Woolrich began supplying the loggers of the American frontier with substantial wool clothing that could stand up to the harsh conditions of the lumber trade, which led to accessories like hats and gloves. Woolrich hats and gloves continue to exhibit this tradition of quality and fit, and are extremely durable for a lifetime of service. Look for Woolrich hats and gloves with features you need for your favorite activities, like thick wool construction and wicking materials.

Woolrich has come a long way since the early 1800’s, when founder John Rich sold yard goods and socks to logging camps from the back of a mule. In 1830 he built America’s first woolen mill in Pennsylvania - where his products quickly established a reputation for utility, function and exceptional protection from the elements. Over the intervening centuries, Woolrich has enhanced its woolens and other fabrics with new textures, dying techniques and washes - all designed to improve performance and durability for today’s demanding outdoor enthusiast. Today Woolrich is a household name in casual apparel, sporting traditions and accessories for the home. As a testament to its legendary influence on outdoor fashion, Woolrich still manufacturers one of its original best-sellers - the ever-popular buffalo shirt in bold red and black plaid. ... Less

By SarahGus from State College, PA on 11/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Design, Soft, Washes Well, Well Made Best Uses: Cool Nights, Lounging, Sleeping Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Pajama pants are great. Trying to save on heat this winter will be a little easier given how warm and comfortable these pants are. I would recommend the pants to anyone. Just keep in mind that they will shrink when you first wash and dry them. Woolrich is great though, they explain that they have made the pants a little bit big to allow for 5-7% shrinking if washed properly. Love the design too.
Absolutely wonderful and warm. By Jules from Boston, MA on 11/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this blanket. It is so comfy and warm. I wish that there were more colors available. I only wish that it did not need to be dry cleaned.
By Jennifer from Colorado on 11/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Unique Best Uses: Kitchen, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The containers are very pretty and the color is not uniform on the pieces, more of a wash, which adds interest. The unit is easy to transport by lifting the handles. The curved edge of the wire handle, where it attaches to the basket, does touch the containers when the handle is lifted up, but it doesn't interfere with anything. I keep the unit on my pass through ledge and use it in the breakfast nook or set it on the dining table. I like it.
