    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    Bought this for a trip to the beach. Cute idea. Like the hidden pocket for keys, etc. Terry material on top is VERY thin, will have to use another towel on top of it after swimming. Will be great for topper to lounge chair, though. Nice nylon backer makes it great for sand or grass. Packs right back into it's carry bag. If the terry was thicker, it would be a lot more heavy and harder to carry, it's a trade-off.

    This product is good, as far as beach blanket options are concerned. The stakes make all the difference in windy areas. The pillow could be a little more dense and it would be nice if it was the full width of the towel. The only major flaw I found is that the storage sack is very weak. Holding the integrated fabric handle while attempting to pull out the towel caused the handle to rip. Twice and it was gone!
