    We've owned a traditional 'Rope' hammock in the past. Although the rope hammock is more spread out and open, it's certainly not as comfortable as this hammock. My kids love wrapping up in it, and i've enjoyed how it's more of a 'soft' feel than the rope hammock of old. Plus, planning on a vacation soon, and this will easily pack along with us.

    As far as a Hammock goes, this met all of my requirements. We use our hammocks mostly when camping, which is 7 to 8 times a year. During each trip, it gets a lot of use (especially by my kids). very sturdy construction and love the fit. This is my second ABO Gear Hammock and looking forward to more relaxing afternoons in the outdoors
