I purchased the medium and the large to figure out which size was best. I have a beagle mix who was able to fit the medium but was very confined. So I exchanged and now have two larges. My dog is 45 lbs can lay in this large kennel comfortably. When stretched out on her side, she basically fills the...

I've actually got 4 of the large sized crates now and I ADORE them! I did have to exchabge one because a zipper stuck and broke. The only issue I've had. I have 2 Labradors and they are both under 70 pounds. They aren't as roomy as their wire kennels, but work well at shows and for travel. My girl hasn't put a paw through the mest when stretching as she has with other travel kennels with less sturdy mesh. I LOVE that these kennels fold up to a beach chair size and I can handle both the crate and a dog at the same time. I do wish that there were a bit more ventilation on the rear side or smaller ends, but all in all, they are terrific crates and have been my go to for Agility trials, Obedience and travel. They've help up really well and I'm sure that I'll buy them again.

I bought this for a trip with the dogs to SC. It folds ups to a very small size, which is nice, but I don't like the door on the side. It would be more practical with the door on the end, but that won't work with this design. If you are looking for something to take to competitions, where crating space is tight, this is not the right one, but it would work great for bringing into the hotel rooms on travel.
It is not. Crates must be made of solid plastic, wood or metal and cannot fold down due to safety considerations. Crates for travel by cargo cannot leak and must be secure to prevent the escape of the pet from the container.

Just the one door on the long side. It was kind of a surprise to me too, but our dog had no problem getting used to it. It does have a flap that opens on TOP for easy access to your dog.

Still no end door because of the mechanism to set up and take down the crate is at both ends.

The only door is on the side. The top also zips open. But no doors on the ends, probably because the support bars that keep the crate standing create a big x on the ends.

Just on the side (one zippered door on the wider side of the crate)

This has a screened opening lengthwise which opens with one u-shaped zipper. There is also a zipped opening on the top.

It only has the one of the front, but there's also an opening on the top. The supports are on the side, so it doesn't look like they could put a door there.

This crate has one "door"...almost as big as the entire length and height of the front of it. The zipper goes around the two sides and bottom so that when unzipped, the "screen door" can be rolled and secured at the top with an attached velcro strap.
