    My 31 lb. Aussie (mostly) enjoys running down and catching the ring toss. From the way he mouths it and shakes it, it is obvious that he enjoys the "live animal" feel. I do not let him keep the ring after play time, so there is no problem with chewing. It does not roll (run) away from him easily like a ball, but he enjoys picking it up and bringing it back for another toss. The weight and shape are not conducive to long throws.

    In all fairness, my dog is an agressive chewer, but there are toys that hold up to his chewing habits. This was not one of them. The donut certainly looked and felt heavy-duty when it arrived. Seanus had it disemboweled in 15 minutes. He carried around the denim carcass for two days before that was ripped into small pieces as well. Too bad--I had hoped that this was going to do the trick. I would have bought several of both styles.
