ABO Gear Hammock Stand - Outback

This stand is REALLY big (it kinda takes up half my backyard), but it does easily come apart into 6 sections so it can be stored over the winter compactly. It seems sturdy, definitely enough so for 2 people. I'm not sure I'd buy it again, though, because it is the largest hammock stand I've ever seen.

Buy a roller system or it's gonna sit where you set it up!

Exactly what I was looking for to hold a two person rope hammock. Very heavy and simple to assemble. Nice green color

i have not been able to use my hammock stand because the u-bolt, safety clip and chains were missing, and i have not recieved replacements.

[...] The plastic/rubber that covered the ends of the stand was intact in some places, but bashed in, scratched, and missing in others. More importantly, the eye hooks needed to attach the included chains to my hammock were missing. The set-up directions in the box showed that they were supposed to be included, but they weren't, so be prepared for a trip to the hardware store.The other thing that concerns me about this is how wobbly it is. When you lay down on the hammock, the stand arms move in toward you, and the hammock drops to the ground. It seems like a really odd and unstable design. I'm keeping it because I'm too lazy to pack up and return something this heavy, and I'll use it for the rest of this season, but I'll plan on buying something new next year.

This thing is big not that that is bad. Could be used for car camping as it breaks down quickly and easily. Currently using it indoors to setup camping hammock.

This is a correction as we have adjusted how we use this and are very happy. It is too heavy and big to move but once set-up and repainted it is a rock solid hammock that easily holds two people or one and a med. dog.

Paint is not holding up well, but that is minor. [...]

This product would be perfect but for the missing end cap. Without the cap, stand is subject to rain and bug infestation.

Got this at a much lower price than comparable hammock stands. It's very easy to assemble and just clicks together. It's sturdy and a nice color.
