“As advertised, it is a strong leather leash...nothing fancy about it. In fact, it seems a bit unfinished. It's quite stiff, but will soften with time and use. The full retail price is way too high for a leash of this quality. The clasp is strong enough (I have 100 lb dogs and have no concerns about it's ability to hold) but it's just not great quality. It will do the job, but you wouldn't be heart-broken if it got lost. I feel fine about the price that I paid, but if it were anywhere close to retail, I'd be returning it immediately.”
