ABO Gear Maralinga Rope Chair

I had this chair two years ago and I loved it. It was perfect. I used it all the time, the problem was, so did my children. It broke after a couple months and I was not able to repair it. I tried to get another, but it wasn't available anymore. My husband got me one that was more than twice the price and it is terrible. So uncomfortable. My advice is get this one and by three for the price of one. The three will outlast the more expensive types and this one is the best for comfort!!! [...]

This is my second one.My first one is going strong,but I feel selfish when I sit in it with company so decided to share. The only bad thing about this chair is when I sit in it I get too relaxed and get nothing else done. I have put cushions in mine just to make it more cooshy,but you don't have to.

I use this on the back porch, my favorite place to read and just relaxe.

I bought two of these at the STP store a few years ago and they have been great. They have made it through three years of heavy use and have not always been taken care of the way they should. The supporting ropes up top, and from the sides of the chair to the bar, needed to be repaired/replaced (very easy) this summer but the chairs are still very comfy and usable. In fact I just bought two more! All hammock chairs are not created equal and at the STP price [...] these are a great deal. They are large enough to actually stretch out in and Im 6'1". Great for sitting in the sun.

Hung this swing in the tree in my backyard. Great for just relaxing, reading or swinging my 3 year old grandson. I take it down when not in use as the weather here can change abruptly. When the tree is in full foliage it will be a shady place to relax this summer. I would not let my grandson use it unsupervised. It looks like it cost much more than what I paid. I believe this would be a nice addition to a family room or bedroom. Unfortunately my house doesn't lend itself to that application.

If it ever stops raining, I'll curl up with a book.

We started out buying just two for the backyard tree. Fortunately it is a big tree and now we have four of these chairs. Comfortable support for head and neck and you can tuck your feet up in or let them dangle. Relaxing this summer with a good book won't get any better.
