    We are currently using this bed for our collie to use in the house. The first time we put it on the floor he laid on it immediately. He seems to like it and knows it belongs to him! It is a bit thin so I don't know how much cushioning it provides for limbs/joints. He often balls it up and lays with his back against it or with his head on it. It is easy to wash and very easy to transport and move, so will be great for traveling.

    My dog usually uses a blanket for a bed, so this is her first "real" dog bed. It's basically a small comforter like you would put on your bed, but she loves it and won't sleep anywhere else! It's pretty compact and comes with a storage bag. The fleece side will be nice in winter, but will probably be permanently covered in dog fur.
