    I know you're not supposed to swing, but I always do and without any problems. I weigh 125, 5'3". I put my foot on one of the 'legs' and push myself while I read or watch TV.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this stand because the other is rather bulky; I should have saved my money. This is supposed to be a stand for a swing-chair but you cannot move, let alone swing, while using it. If you do not have the legs extended perfectly when you sit down you end up on the ground with some rather spectacular bruises.

    Does not allow sky chair to swing. Warning states "Do Not Swing"! It makes a portable hanger for the sky chair that you can move where ever you want it put it. However, legs are rather difficult of pull apart. OK for napping and that is about all!
