ABO Gear Sunmate Shelter - 84x48"

This is a great addition to my beach gear. Simple easy set up and light weight. Included are stakes and carry / storage pouches. Nice looking too. Best part of the deal is the price.

Just returned from Myrtle Beach and am glad to report that this little tent more than met my expectations. Most of the time the tent was not staked in the sand - just had towels and toys in it. However ... on the windy days I used the stakes it stayed put! Excellent ventilation. Shade was moderate so I laid a towel on top when it was super sunny. (12 noon - 2pm) It was pretty easy to set up, and once you have it up, it is easy to fold up and use the next day. Although my family and I rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach, this little sun shelter was a great addition.

Bought these as Christmas gifts for friends, so don't know how they function, yet. I thought it was different and looked usable and fun for the families I bought them for--we'll see.

The SunMate was easy to set up, with shock-corded poles similar to tents. Two adults plus gear can easily fit under it, and maybe a small child too. It blocked a lot of the sun (on the beach) but allowed the breeze to blow through. We used two stakes and cords on the upwind side to secure it. It packs away easily.

perfect for the beach. the next time i'll put a towel over the top, and secure with clothespins (for extra sun coverage) BUT the tent provided a decent amount of shade on a HOT and sunny day. it also held up well to the wind.

light and small enough to carry on bike

This goes to the beach with us when it is more on the windy side. We put the back towards the wind and it keeps the sand from blowing in. It's also nice to be able to eat lunch without the sand getting into your food.

We have been looking for awhile for a good quality cabana to take to the beach with us for our little guy. I'm glad we purchased this. It is very easy to setup, comes with stakes and sand pockets. I haven't used it at the beach yet, but it has been used to protect our youngest during some soccer games and on a picnic. The only downside is that later in the evening a little more sun than I like comes in through the mesh sides. The same sides however allow the wind to keep the cabana cool without the wind wanting to take the shelter away like a kite. Bottom line: I would buy it again :)

Was a little fiddly to set up as it's difficult to align all the poles at the same time. Otherwise, a great buy that will come in handy at the beach with kids

Excited to try with our son on the beach this summer. Hoping that it will protect him from the rays enough. Definitely a great price. Would not have spent the original amount on this EVER.
