ABO Gear Swing Stand - Floataway

This is a great stand. Well engineered. The comment below about the poor instructions is difficult to understand. The instructions just has pictures but you can put it together without even looking. It is obvious how it comes together if you see a picture. It is heavy because it must be in order to hold the weight. I use it during the winter months when it is too cold to hang off my tree. Can't go 360 but I cannot image a design that would let you do it without being 2-3x the size. Trust me, I tried to design my own stand but when I found this I realize it was a great design.

Not a bad stand for the price. Sturdy. Easily assembled. Takes up a lot of room and not particularly attractive, but does the job. My swinging chair is very comfy in this stand (paranoid about hanging from tree and having the branch break).

We use this on an island in Maine and it is PERFECT!! Replaces the old tree that used to hold the hanging chair up!!

The instructions were the worst I have ever encountered.

great stand. Sturdy. and large enough.

Worked fine and easy to set up. Has some rust stains on the patio below the joint at the bottom, after a rainstorm. A bit annoying, but an Ok product overall.

The main comment (concern) is that the spring does not allow the floataway chair to face forward or fit well within the frame. It lists to one side and the wooden bar on the chair hits the frame. It's too heavy/bulky to be portable.
