ABO Gear Travel Crate - Dog Digs, Medium

Only thing that is weird is the side entry.

The included pad is a nice extra but pretty thin and the velcro tabs to secure the pad to the bottom of the crate frame don't all line up with the frame but it still works well for my needs! Great for traveling and short term crating needs.

It's perfect to take our Brittany on the train - she's 14 and too large for a carrier - dog strollers are too pricey. We walk her on - pop open the crate and in she goes for the trip.

I use this when traveling with my cat from home in town to mountain home. When I leave it up in mountain home cat likes to hide in it when a put a blanket over it.

Anticipating a new dog in our future, so looking forward to having a way to keep the dog safe in strange places and out from under foot when visiting vision-impaired elders. Also will offer an optional retreat when the 3yo nephew visits.

I got this crate to put in the back of my car after spending ages trying to get the dog hair out of the rug, and the dog spit off the windows. My dog is medium-sized, about 40 lbs, and this crate is a little on the small side, but the larger crate would be too big. This is fine for short rides around town, she seems happy, but for a long trip she might feel cramped. When my husband was driving the other day, he broke hard and the crate rolled over. There should be Velcro on the bottom to secure it better. That said, it absolutely performs the function for which I got it and has the added bonus of shielding her view of other dogs on the street--no more loud outbursts of barking. And, no more rattling metal pet barrier needed. Also, it opens up half of that rear area for groceries again. Yes, you can have a dog in the car and still keep it clean!

I bought both the medium and large sized for my 2 dogs. Medium sized was to be for my 37 lb whippet and large was to be for my 75 lb greyhound. Though the grey fit okay (little tight) in the large, the whippet was way to big for the medium. Thus, I gave the medium to a friend with a small dog and I will order another large. The crates open at the sides (vs at the end) and it makes it a bit awkward - but not un-useable. And there is also nice access from above (good for feeding). It seems very well built - with good bracing and very easy to open/close. I don't know how long the zippers will last - so I will take extra caution to take care of them. I used the crates only to hold the dogs during short periods at a camp site. Mine don't chew nor attempted to escape - as they were not left unsupervised. Oh - and there are some very nice handles at each end of the crate that would probably make a good tethering point if needed!

I think it is easy to set up and use..lightweight too.

plenty of room, plenty of ventilation, easy to pack and unpack for travel, good value

took 9 hr trip to fla where i am typeing from. crate is absolutely great, used for small puppy, only 3 mo old, great in hotel. he loves to play in it during day keeping and replacing his toys. thanks works and is perfect
