Most Helpful 5-Star Review

Purchased this for the dogs food for camping. Have not used yet, but I did measure how much of their food it would hold. Have 2 dogs, 1 is about 60 lbs the other is about 40 lbs. They are fed 2 cups of Country Vet food a day. This container will hold 30 cups easily with the closure staying closed. S... Read More

    • Answer No, it just has the waterproof bowls
Answered on 12/1/2014 11:41:39 AM by airehead from denver
    • Answer It has separate bowls. Both "bowls" are exceptionally well made and both are waterproof. But the carrying bag is one compartment. I will say I've had it for about a year and it is handy. I take one squished inside the handle of a milk jug gallon of water to the dog park and for some reason every dog there loves to drink out of it. My dog does too. Maybe its the red color. Everyone asks where I got it. They also wash very nice. I do let them air dry. They are the perfect size. Some of these portable bowls are made of cheaper material and are too small.

    • Answer The bag come with 2 collapseable bowls that can be attached to the main dry food bag, as pictured on Sierra website.
Answered on 12/1/2014 12:52:43 PM by Pandemonia from Florida
    • Answer No, the bag is for dry food only, it is not lined like the bowls are, and any water would not stay inside it. There is only 1 compartment.

  • Question “What is the capacity of the bowl?”
Asked on 9/3/2014 12:03:13 PM by pokeymom from Idaho
    • Answer Approx 48 oz.
Answered on 9/3/2014 1:11:30 PM by M&M from Upstate NY
    • Answer Capacity is 5 cups, perhaps 6 if food is filled to top.
Answered on 9/3/2014 1:15:35 PM by AZ Lily from Arizona
    • Answer I'm not sure exactly the capacity of the bowls. The bowls are about the size of an average baseball cap. we use the bowls for food and have a metal bowl for water. The food pouch is wonderful and works great. The bowls could be used for water but our dogs prefer a metal or glass bowl.

  • Question “can the bag (not the bowls) be embroidered professionally?”
Asked on 3/21/2014 11:10:44 AM by Joatney from Oregon
    • Answer Yes , it seems like you can easily slide the bag onto a sewing machine and have something sewn on it. The fabric is not too thick but it is not thin like a simple cotton..you will need a good needle.

Asked on 10/5/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown

    • Answer Yes, the bowls are flat until you fill them with food and water.
Answered on 11/16/2011 12:00:00 AM by Bigboom2002 from Waterbury Center, VT
    • Answer Yes, its quite roomy - we put the leash, bowls and food in the pack. The bowls fold completely flat when empty.
Answered on 1/15/2012 12:00:00 AM by DGQHorse from San Antonio, Texas
    • Answer The bag will hold the bowls but it also depends on the amount of food you put in the bag. The cord on the front is expandable and we just shove the bowls under that. The bowls collapse.

  • Question “Is the waterbowl leakproof?”
Asked on 6/21/2011 12:00:00 AM by Anonymous from Unknown
    • Answer The are not leakproof, but there shouldn't be any problems unless the bags are put through unusually rough wear.
