I just dropped 4 sizes so my old bathing suit didn't fit anymore. I wear a bathing suit maybe 5 times a year so I didn't want to spend much. So I went to the cheap local chain stores but their tankinis were so unflattering and obviously cheap looking. I left each dressing room almost in tears. I'm like, I don't look that bad! How can a bathing suit make me look so awful? I just couldn't spend the $$ on something ugly and so completely unflattering. Then I was all over our favorite online auction site looking for my old brand of bathing suit which I loved and was flattering. I "watched" a few in my current jean size. I didn't love any. I LOVED this Abs Allen Schwartz Garden Party Tankini and added it to my cart in my current pants size. Something kept me from completing the order and the current promotion ended. I said I'll wait until the next promotion if my size is still there I'll get it. It wasn't. I wanted this so bad. Then I remembered how my old bathing suit was 1 size below my pant size at the time. I'm normally not daring at all when buying online because I have no money to waste even on return shipping, but I read up on the size charts of this brand and felt I would be ok with a size lower. It came, It's PERFECT! It's flattering, very high quality, nice, bright colors in a pattern that nobody else will have or easily recognize the brand. The material is lightweight but on the thicker side, not too thick at all, just thick enough so you know it's high quality and smooths out your skin where you need it. I'm a D cup and I was worried about support because this wasn't an adjustable halter (like my old one), but it provides perfect support with the adjustable straps, and this is where the thicker fabric comes in handy. The cheaper suits I tried on were thin, flimsy material that didn't give me any support up top. I can't reccomend this bathing suit more, I just hope that by washing in cold water the beautiful neon bright colors don't fade and I reccomend buying suits a size lower than your pants size unlike another reviewer I saw who reccomended buying a size larger.
