    I bought these shoes to wear around the house on our hard wood floor and adjacent deck. They are very warm, but a bit too small, as previous reviewers said. I bought my normal size and I think they will stretch out in time. They have good arch support for me and will serve their purpose. The lining is very soft and warm. Overall, a very good buy.

    Great shoes. Purchased to wear as slippers/all around shoes after hip surgery (can't tie shoe laces). THESE are great. VERY VERY comfortable without socks... probably won't be wearing with socks (listed that as a con, but not sure it really is a con). I'm not a slipper wearer... so these are perfect for kicking around the house or running out for errands. Nice and warm. Perfect.

    I had purchased a pair of Columbia mules from STP for a Christmas gift but she was never quite sure about them due mainly to their color (black). As a result, I ordered her a pair of these Acorns. These shoes were a bit snug at first, due to the wool lining, but they quickly formed to her foot. Now she loves them.

    I ended up ordering a full size larger than I usually wear - these seem to run small But they are so incredibly comfortable!!! I wear them around the house when I get home from work, they give plenty of support to wear while doing chores, etc - and the soles are made to go outside, so you could wear these to run errands too.     i wore these shoes from day #1. they're perfect for living on a farm. i use wood heat and going out in the early AM for wood, my feet stay cozy and DRY! i really like the tread for muddy days. i wish i had gotten two pairs.
