Closeouts. Ultra soft from inside to out, these sheepskin ballet slippers from Acorn are so soft, snuggly and cute, you'll want to prance all over the chilly house in them.

I bought a size up as suggested, too big in heals. Slipper feel off and squashed underfoot. Returned for the next size smaller, those also fell off my heals and slid underfoot with each step. So these will be retuned and I'm out about $20 in shipping. Looks like they are closeouts because they were unable to fit peoples feet!

I wanted so badly to love these slippers because I was looking for the ballet slipper with sheepskin. These have no support at all, are poorly consturcted, way to wide and slip out with each step. Back they go!!

This is my second pair of Acorn ballet slippers and I love them because they're soft, warm, sheepskin and also because unlike many other sheepskin slippers, they're feminine.
Answer
To clean these use a damp cloth and air dry; brush leather with soft brush to revive

The sheepskin provides the padding - i don't think there is any additional padding on the footbed. I wouldn't try to wash them - they are soft leather. You could probably use a waterproofing spray before you wear them and then a suede cleaner if you got them dirty.

The footbed is padded. I don't know that I would throw them in the washer, however.

Question
“One of the reviews mentioned that this product runs big- the other review said they were true to size.|Which one should I beleive?”
Asked on 11/23/2009 12:00:00 AM by Cheryl from Roswell, GA
Answer
Good question Cheryl! If you notice in the product information list on this item, we have included a note stating "half sizes order up". This is from our own internal research. Please order a half size up. If an item is true to size, Sierra Trading Post will not have any special sizing instructions.

Answer
Half sizes are not available. The usual rule is to order the next whole size larger. With these, the larger size falls off at the heel. The smaller size fits more snuggly, but is still very comfortable. With this style, you want them a little snug.

They definitely run big. I ordered the next size down and they fit perfectly.

Answer
I wear an 81/2 shoe. I have these slippers in a size 9 which fit fine if I'm wearing socks. I also have them in a size 8 which fit perfectly (length & width)without socks. They are truly made from leather/suede and shearling and as such will stretch. One other tip, wearing them without socks prevents your feet from sweating or holding sweat.
